Character's Allegiance (Hero, Villain, or Neutral): He's the Ultimate Villain! MWUAHAHAHAHHAHAHA
Weapons (If any): His powers.
Other Info (Is there anything we need to know about this person?): Jack Kane thinks he is crippled, but the other three are not. Cain wants everyone to think Kane is crippled.
History (At least 15 sentences and as detailed as you can get. The better we know them, the better we can write with you): Jack Kane was born in Virgina. He was a kind hearted boy, rather sensitive when it came to other people. He grew up in a wealthy family who had a long line of respectable ancestry that ranged from lawyers, judges, policemen, Congressmen, and Senators. He was bred to be ambitious and to become a Senator.
Since he was young, he wanted only to help people and knew that the best way was to become a Senator. He believed firmly on the ideal of "Of the People, for the People" and tried his best to get to represent everyone and anyone.
When he was 36, he was elected as a Senator of Virgina and promised to bring equality and respectability. While he was a Senator, he discovered that the government was spending money in mysterious projects. Using his contacts, he discovered Senator Nathan Petrelli's or more likely, Danko's projects of hunting down the Gifted. Through this, he learned about people with abilities, The Company, Pinehearst and believed that the Gifted were being discriminated. So, mounting an investigation, he tried to expose Danko. Danko caught onto Jack Kane's investigation and sent Sylar to deal with him, but not to kill him.
While going home one night, Sylar used his abilities to send Kane's car on him, causing the car to hit Kane's legs, thus crippling him and telling him personally to back off or he would kill him.
Despair hit Kane as he lost the use of his legs, and he soon became obsessed with trying to find a way to heal himself. Throughout his search, he discovered Mohinder's research of the formula and had someone duplicate it for him, hoping to gain abilities to heal. Unfortunately, Mohinder's formula was incomplete, thus causing Kane to develop three other personalities, the most dangerous being Cain, who is aware of all personalities, and seemed to blame Kane's misfortunes on the Gifted.
After this incident, Kane tried his best to look on the bright side of things and accepted his handicap, unaware of Cain's presence and ability to easily take over Kane's body. However, Kane now blames the Gifted and wants Congress to acknowledge them to be dangerous. He has gone to produce a Bill to gather up and hunt the Gifted. The Bill is still trying to go through Congress, as many are skeptic, unsure, or afraid of what this may mean.
Through Kane, Cain was able to find several dosages of the complete formula that Pinehearst created and injected himself with it, thus giving him the abilities he has now. He also managed to find a supply of Claire Bennet's blood from The Company and heal his crippled legs, although he has made sure that Kane knows not of this by using his hypnosis on Kane.
With new found freedom, Cain sent out to recruit people with abilities in order to use them to hunt down their own kind for him. He uses the persona as Shadow when talking to them as none of them know his identity; he does this to protect Kane. Through this recruitment, he was lucky enough to find a gifted young woman who has the ability to locate and sense other people with abilities (I'll let Trinn expand on her abilities as she is to be her). He has hypnotized this woman into becoming his fundamental tool to find the most powerful people with abilities. She is his right hand and the one who oversees everything when he allows Kane or the others to take over.
Now, Jack Kane is trying to pull Congress together to go after the gifted, but of course, this is kept quiet as the Government doesn't want to alarm or alert the public. Cain, is still working in the Shadows, trying to gather his own little force until the appropriate time to exterminate all the Gifted is in place.
Role Play Sample (At least 15 sentences):
"How do I look?" Jack asked his assistant as he adjusted his tie.
"Very handsome, sir. You'll look wonderful at the Social Party." The assistant complimented as she looked at her appointment book. "Remember, don't stay out too late. You have a meeting with Senator Mickelson at 8 am."
"I won't. Remember, I can't drink while driving." Jack smiled as he pushed himself in his wheelchair towards the door.
"Sir." One of his bodyguards opened the door for him and took over the pushing.
"Thank you, Tom." Jack said.
Inside the Black Buick, Jack stared outside his window. "I'll have to make a good impression tonight...don't want people to be misinformed." Jack said as his watch beeped, indicating it was 8:00. Jack instantly craned his neck in a tilting pattern. He closed his eyes.
Bruce opened his eyes. "Oh, are we going to a party?" He chuckled as he stared at the assistant beside him. "How about we ditch it and you and I have a little party of our own?" He gives her a charming grin. He cracks his neck.
"Stupid, insignificant insects! Corrupted in their own wealth and capitalism. They need to be punished! Punished!" Durden's eyes flared and flashed as his hands clutched together, indicating his need to destroy something. He clicks his head.
"Easy, Durden...control yourself, we need this opportunity tonight." Cain rotates his head sideways.
"Yes, Cain, sir!" Durden salutes in a mocking manner. "I promise I'll behave, yes, sir." He grins, ignoring the assistant beside him. He clicks his head, as if he has some sort of twitch.
"Good." Cain smiled as he turned to look at his assistant. "How are we coming?" Cain asked.
"We are on schedule. I've had the serum delivered. Would you like me to inform Mr. Riker of the meeting?"
"Yes. That will be great. Tell him I want him next to Lt. Anderson's grave."
"Very good, sir." The assistant said and took out a phone to text Julian Riker.
"Everything is in place...once I have him on my team...I can easily track the others. Now...I think we have a party to attend to now." Cain gave a light smile and rotated his head to the side.
"Mmm? Did I fall asleep?" Jack asked as he opened his eyes.
"Yes, sir, only for a little while."
"Must be all the stress..." He stifled a yawn.
"We're here, Mr. Kane." The assistant pointed at the entrance of the Social Convention for Congress.
"Wish me luck." Jack smiled as he awaited for his wheelchair to be set up. The car door opened and the lights of flashing cameras illuminated his features.
