Character's Name: Hazel Coaran
Character's Age: 26
Character's Attitude: Originally, Hazel was a sweet, kind, and overall good person. She was charismatic and hard-working, never lazy or idle. Generally, trusting of others and easy going. After being trapped by Cain, she at first tried to escape but could not resist his abilities, and has since then been hypnotized a multitude of times. Because of this, Hazel has basically forgotten about her life prior to knowing Jack Kane. She now has come to have an almost obsessive love for Cain, doing anything for him willingly and without question. She doesn’t know this is her brains way of coping with all the hypnosis. Sometimes at night she has nightmares about Cain, images of the future, but in the morning forgets them. In private, she’s eclectic and spastic. To fool the rest of the world, she brings out her original personality, unknowing this is true herself. Also, hates Bruce.
Character's Powers: Hazel can find/sense people with abilities, powerful to insignificant. Also has a bit of precognition.
Character's Weakness: Hazel can only locate two gifted people per hour. Otherwise, she gets terrible migraines that render her useless for the rest of the day. She also must have a quiet area so she can enter her trance, the trance being necessary for her to locate gifted. For her precognition, she can only see visions of those with abilities, and her visions are only of important events. For example, she would never see herself getting Subway, or getting a sliver. Basically, only life-changing things. Her visions only come in dreams. However, her precognition has become blocked from all the hypnosis. Because she “loves” Cain, she would probably risk her life to save him. Doesn’t really care about anyone’s opinion on anything, except for Cains.
Character's Appearance:
Character's Allegiance: Cain
Weapons: None
Other Info: Whenever Hazel starts coming back to herself, starts waking up from all the hypnosis and mind control, she is very disoriented and confused. Because of this, it is easy for Cain to notice and just reassert his control.
History: Hazel was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. From an early age she was interested in writing and politics. All through primary schooling she was top of her class. In college she pursued writing and politics, and in due time she was writing for a local paper. However, she wanted to get into the political scene more, and decided to move to New York, the Big Apple. Hazel struggled for a while looking for work, until she managed to get a small weekly article in the New York bugle, a small newspaper, writing on different political figures. Content with this small but sufficient career, Hazel made no effort to up her status. One night, she had a terrible dream. When she woke up, she had no doubt in her mind that she had just seen a horrible sight of the future. In this dream, she saw the senator Jack Kane being murdered, and in his place rose a hazy but identical figure of the senator. Her dream gave her flashes of gifted people dying and hunted, sick and running. She saw bombs being dropped onto cities, tanks rolling through deserted streets. The next day she got an odd call from a man who called himself Shadow. Shadow wanted to help her and the rest of those with abilities. Eager to stop the future she dreamt, Hazel met with Shadow, and was very surprised to find the man none other than Jack Kane. Doing as he asked, she began locating those with abilities, finding the powerful ones. After a few of these odd requests, she began to grow suspicious. Again she had a dream. Jack Kane was sitting as his desk, writing. He kept twitching, speaking erratically, and she heard him say clearly to kill them all. “The gifted must die”. Hazel made an attempt to escape, but was apprehended by Kane, who she know knew was actually Cain, the mastermind. He promptly hypnotized her, trapping her forever. Now she doesn’t even remember that incident, and works brainlessly for Cain.
Role Play Sample: He wanted a powerful one. A powerful one, powerful, strong, one with abilities. A powerful one, powerful, strong, one with abilities. Hazel repeated in her mind as she sat in the middle of an empty room. She rocked back and forth, a lopsided grin dominating her features. Oh, she would fine Cain a powerful gifted. He would be pleased with her. She was a good assistant. A powerful one, powerful, strong…. After a moment of her erratic thoughts, Hazel’s grin faded, her mind cleared. She could see a thousand points of light in the darkness of her closed eyes. Some of these orbs were immense, pulsing and throbbing with their power. Others were tiny and dull, merely flickering. Choosing one of the big, radiant spheres, Hazel focused upon it. The sphere shimmered, taking the shape of a man. The darkness around him faded, was replaced by streets and buildings, people. This man, he was death. Everything he touched turned to lifeless carcasses. But he was powerful in another way… he could project something. What was it… electricity? Hazels’ eyes twitched under her eyelids as she sought to identify him further. Her lids suddenly snapped open, and she leapt to her feet, clapping her hands. “Julian Riker! Julian Riker!” she shouted out, ecstatic that she had successfully found another powerful gifted for Cain. Grinning madly, Hazel dashed out of the room, looking for her brilliant Cain.
OOC: I leave this one up to Max to accept. lol
