Character's Name: Alex Anderson

Character's Attitude: A smart alec with a witty mouth. He's carefree and unpredictable, perhaps even a bit crazy, but that is a facade he plays to hide his true emotions. Deep down, despite him burying it, he is kind, sweet, and loving. However, he can be serious and responsible when he has to. He's always seeking for a thrill.
Character's Powers: Laser Emission (the ability to create a BLUE laser beam or blast); Enhanced Speed (Not super speed. His enhanced speed only allows him to appear like a blur, but he can still be seen. His speed is the middle ground between normal and super speed).
Character's Weakness:
1) His wittiness - it gets him in trouble a lot if he doesn't learn to control himself.
2) Women - he's as flirtatious as it comes.
3) His Laser emission has a limit. If he exceeds it, he would need to recharge for at least 30 minutes before he can use it again.
4) Water can short his laser abilities.

Other Info: He's Jack Kane/Cain's PR guy and an undercover bodyguard for Cain. He knows Ninjistsu, having grown up in Japan.
History: Alex was born to the American Japanese Ambassador and his wife, allowing him the opportunity to live in both American and Japan throughout his life. Because of his father's duties as the American liason to Japan, his parents were very protective of Alex and desired him to learn martial arts. When Alex was 10, his sensei saw great potential in young Alex and began to teach him Ninjistsu.
When Alex was 14, he discovered his powers. Scared, he kept his powers a secret until his Sensei found out and began to teach him how to develop and control it. Considering his Sensei more as a father (his parents were often so busy that he never saw them, and he always would rotate 6 months in Japan and 6 months in Pennslyvannia since his parent's divorce).
When Alex was 18, he went to Oxford University and decided to learn about Political Science and International Relations. One day, on his way home for Spring Break, he was captured by Primatech and placed in the cells, exposing him to the negativity against the Gifted and to others like him. However, he was able to escape when Noah, Claire, and Meredith frees those trapped in Level 5 when Sylar begins to bring the place down.
Having escaped, Alex gains a different perspective of those around him and adapts a carefree, live like your dying, and arrogant personality, when deep down, he is actually kind and sweet. To protect himself, he presents himself differently, however, his unique abilities caught the attention of Cain. Cain, recruits Alex, telling him that a new future will emerge - one that he will be accepted in, and even allows Cain to experiment on him...
Now, Alex uses his skills to serve Cain as his bodyguard and PR guy for Jack Kane.
Role Play Sample: Alex did his best to hide his bored expression as Cain announced the Exodus Bill. Of course, this would mean that his kind would be hunted now, but Cain assured him that this was necessary for his ultimate endgame. After all, war had its casualties. Alex glanced over at Hazel. Cain's little pet. Poor girl; he wondered if she knew the difference between up and down when Cain was around. He momentarily studied her figure before being interrupted by applause. The Congress definitely ate up Cain's speech.
Alex sighed and got up, adjusting his suit as he did so. Time to get to work. Flashing his best smile, Alex went to greet the press.
