History: Nashota was born and raised in an Indian reservation in California. She is about ninety percent native American, of the Kato tribe to be exact. The res. was an easy place to grow up, and it was located about an hour away from LA. Growing up, Nashota didn’t see much of the city, but she had enough fun romping around with the other kids on the res. More than once she had a broken bone from her exploits. At the age of 15, her powers awakened. They opened up many opportunities for her, to better herself and maybe one day break away from the res. At 19, she decided to move into LA, to find a job and begin the next chapter in her life. Her first day in her new home, she rented informal videos on yoga and dancing. The next day she was putting out ads to give lessons in both subjects. This is how she’s been making her money. Of course, with her open nature, she’s had to move about five times to escape the government. Now, at 23, she’s living in San Diego and still teaching yoga and dance.
Role Play Sample: Reaching up, Nashota stapled the last add onto the telephone pole. This year, she would also be giving violin lessons. She had recently purchased one of the instruments on a whim, and it had taken a considerable portion out of her funds. Smiling, looking forward to the new people she would meet in San Diego, Nashota turned and headed back home. Home was a small apartment above a pizza parlor. Cozy, in her opinion, if a little loud at times. The parlor was owned by pure-blood Italians, and they had the habit of raising their voices. Nashota had a feeling she and the Italians would be good friends by the end of the week. After all, they made really good pizza. Reaching her abode, Nashota climbed up the steps at the side of the parlor, which led to her apartment. Touching the wooden rail, Nashota let its past enter her mind. Many hands had trailed it just the way she was, many people had walked next to it. Some were smiling, others were angry. There was a young couple, and an old man. He had died on the landing. Taking her hand quickly away from the railing, Nashota tried to forget the image of the old man, his frail heart finally giving way after so many years of climbing up the steps she now stood on. Would that be her someday? Would this be the rest of her life? Shaking her head, she climbed the rest of the stairs. No, Nashota Tala was not going to die from climbing a flight of steps. If anything, she would be captured long before that.
