Sierra was singing her heart out on stage in New York New York at a club and bar. it was an up beat song that had a lot of people dancing or jumping and pumping their fists. she was having loads of fun and so was everyone else. she barely had to use an empathic suggestion to get people going. heck some people had started singing the chorus with her. most of the times she sang songs familiar to everyone sometimes she sang her own songs though. they liked her songs. sure shed needed help writing the music. actually her step brother had helped her write it well actually she just sang to chords at the moment but still, her brother was awesome like that. she reached the end of the song and rapped it up. Everyone loved it! exhilarated she got off the small stage and went to the bar for something to drink declining invitations and whatnot from people on the floor. she did thank and chat and was polite to people. never down right rude.

The man twirled Felicity around one last time before the song ended. He pulled her close, grinning unashamed. Clearly, he thought she was his now. "Thanks for the dance," she said coyly, then expertly flitted out of his arms and into the sea of people on the dance floor. Laughing, she made her way over to the bar, where she ordered a drink and took a seat. Sipping at her kahlua cocktail and searched the club. She had come here with a few of modeling coleagues after a successful show. They were all still dancing. Felicity glanced beside her, immediately recognizing the girl who had just been singing. "Hey." she said amicably, "you did a great job! Really good voice."

Sipping her drink, Felicity eyed the woman closer. She did seem familiar. "I see." she said, still thinking. This girl was deffinitely good enough to be a professional. "Do you have any records out?" Felicity finally asked, curious. "Or are you still trying to get in the spotlight?"

"Exodus is in effect. Let's go." A man in casual clothing, but wearing a leather jacket to hide his baretta that was strapped behind his back, said to four other guys. They all nodded their heads as they had watched the subject with care. Taking a note that this woman was an empath, they approached the bar carefully, herding in the freak, not noticing that Felicity Monroe was one of them.

"That's great!" Felicity said enthusiastically, "Trust me, I know how it is." She rolled her eyes at the tediacy of trying to become famous, or at least known. "I'm Felicity. Nice to meet you, Sierra." Finishing off her drink, Felicity stood back up as another upbeat song pumped through the club. Spotting a not too shabby man clad in a leather jackett, she grabed his arm with a sly smile. "Let's dance!" she said, pulling him towards the dance floor.

Sierra smiled as the saw felicity grab the dancer. she pushed her hair behind her ear and took another drink of water. she paused and looked around. Why'd she get that feeling someone was staring at her? she shook herself and breathed in the scent of lavender that clung to her. it was probably nothing. she squeezed the lemon into her water and drank the rest of it asking the bartender for a refill please? he refilled it and she drank some more. lemon water mmmm.... refreshing!

The man in leather was surprised at Felicity's gesture as he was dragged into the dance floor. He gave his men a pleading look, but they all seemed to find it rather humorous. Taking Felicity close to him, the man mouthed to the others to take Sierra now.
As the man began to dance with Felicity, the other 4 guys with him approached Sierra. They began to push people aside as they hurried to crowd her in and shot her with a tranquillizer dart.
*** Jason (OOC: I need him to be somewhere active! lol) tried to enjoy the beat to the music as he sat in a booth with a couple of his friends that he made from group. They all seemed to be having a good time as they talked and flirted with random people. Jason tried to keep an upbeat attitude, but find himself bored as this wasn't his type of scene. If only they had agreed on going to the beach...nothing felt more refreshing then a late night surf.

Moving with the beat, Felicity twirled around her random partner. Her vision passed across Sierra, past four men who seemed to be in a hurry to get to her. The music seemed to fade into the background as she watched, a nagging worry growing in her stomach. Forgetting the man she had been dancing with, Felicity pushed herself through the crowd, trying to reach Sierra first. Maybe she was being paranoid, but these men were giving her the creeps. Dear God, was that a gun? "Sierra!" Felicity shouted out, "Watch out!"

The team leader began to notice Felicity's awareness of his men heading towards Sierra, especially when she left him. "Move in now!" He ordered through an earpiece and the four men became more aggressive as they pushed aside people. One of them got out the tranquilizer gun, intending to shot Sierra.
*** Jason decided to head over to the bar, finding an excuse to leave when one of the group members began making out with a random girl. "Live in the moment!" Was the guy's motto. It would be Jason's motto too, but he just felt really nauseous watching them, so he went to go get a drink instead.
As Jason was getting closer to the bar, some girl ran into him, screaming someone else's name. "Oof. You all right?" Jason asked, wondering what the heck was wrong with this blond woman.

Pushing aside people, Felicity continued to shout, trying to warn Sierra above the noise of the club. Someone ran in to her, and she spared him only a glance. "They have guns!" she said frantically. Finally, the people who were being pushed around seemed to become aware of the dangerous men. One spotted the gun, and released a shrill scream. That was all it took before there was mass panic in the club, people rushing wildly for the exits. Felicity found herself pushing against the crowd, not willing to leave Sierra.

"What?" Jason glanced over to where she was pointing, and sure enough, he didn't think she was lying. The men realized that people were beginning to realize what was going on. They hurried to grab Sierra as Jason used his force to push against the panicking crowd.

In the midst of her pushing, Felicity realized the guy was right along with her. Out of the whole crowd of people, he was the only one also trying to help Sierra. Alerted by the singer's shouts, Felicity forgot her brief pondering and shoved harer past the crowd. Finally, she broke through, in clear line of one of the gun men. Logan and Dave were going to be ticked. Gathering light into the palm of her hand, she aimed at the gun, then let loose. The light came out like a thin beam accompanied with a resonating hum. This was the first time she was willingly using her ability in such concentrated form. Her only hope was that no one got hurt... too badly.

"GET HER!" One of the men shouted as he pointed at Sierra, who was leaping over the bar. They rushed and pushed people aside as they tried to get a clear shot.
Cursing at the lack of organization, one of the soldiers decided to switch his tranquilizer gun. Grabbing his desert eagle out, he began to fire at the bar, hoping to lure the girl out.
"Move! Out of the way!" Jason yelled as he pushed a man aside as he made a path to the bar. Despite his efforts, he was pushed back and was separated from the Felicity, winding up behind the main gunman. Spotting the gunman as he was shooting the bar, Jason rushed on him just when Felicity let loose her ability. Jason stood in between the gunman and the light. The gunman spotted it too and stared at it in horror, making Jason turn around and out of instinct, Jason phased as the light passed through him. Jason breathed in with surprised as he felt a hot, burning sensation pass through him. Gazing behind him, he heard a scream as the man's hand was seared off as the light continued towards the bar's mirrors, shattering them over Sierra and any one else in a close radius.
The agents held up their hands to defend themselves as the blast erupted the mirrors, causing glass and sharp objects to explode all over the place. The blast was caused them to fly off their feet from the blast radius. It also blasted through the club's wall. Exposing the sweaty club air to the outside.
Once the damage was done, Jason's body returned to its solid form. He gasped as a sharp pain erupted in his head and he bent over, holding his head. For several seconds, he felt as if the hot beam of light was imploding his brain. Soon, the pain stopped, and he tentatively regained his posture, although there was still a ringing noise. He glanced around, trying to refocus and remember what he was doing.

Cutting off the flow of light, Felicity lowered her hand quickly and stifled a scream. She could hardly believe she had just caused such destruction, but most of all, she had just killed the man who had been trying to help her. Not to mention the bloody stump that was now the gunner's hand. And what of Sierra? Had part of the wall crumbled atop her? Had she been impaled by a shard of glass? Bad idea. she thought, staring in horror. There were moanings and groans coming from the other men who had been stalking Sierra. She came out of her dismay when she realized the helpful man was somehow still alive. Dashing over to him, Felicity was astounded that there seemed to be no blood, no wound of any kind. "Are you ok?" she asked, her voice pitched higher in disbelief. Felicity looked over to the bar, anxious to see if Sierra had survived.

Jason looked up at Felicity. "Uh, yeah...I think so..did that...that light come from you?" He asked, noticing that she was really the only one who seemed perfectly fine. He turned when the woman who was being chased appeared. She seemed fine and he felt an odd sense of calmness, well, despite his usual easy going attitude. "I think we better get out of here..." Jason said, as he eyed the men, who were starting to regain focus and the sounds of sirens didn't seem like something he wanted to deal with.

"No." Felicity said automatically. She couldn't let anybody know about her ability, not unless she wanted to be considered a danger to humanity. Spotting Sierra, she rushed over to the singer, feeling oddly calm considering she had just demolished a part of the club's wall. "You're hurt." she said, noticing how Sierra was holding her arm. Looking at the man, she nodded. Unless they wanted to explain this mess, they had all better get out. "Come on." Felicity said, heading towards the back of the club. There had to be an exit there.
