Character's Name: Alicia Cortez
Character's Age: 22
Character's Attitude: Alicia is sweet and nice, sometimes a little bubbly. She loves her brother and would do almost anything for him. (She looks up to him almost as a father because he raised her since she was 13.) She is terrified that she might unintentionally hurt someone because of her power.
At some point she gets caught and hypnotized by Cain. The way her mind copes with it is creating an entirely separate personality that's loyal to Cain. This personality's attitude is more sarcastic that her real one. She absolutely loves fast cars, the faster the better. She doesn't care much about anyone besides Cain. She fights Hazel for his attention, but she doesn't have a love interest in him. Instead it's closer to how the real her views Will: as a father figure that she wants to impress. She doesn't have any restraint about feeding on humans, especially if Cain told her to.
The second personality is always aware, but it rarely in control. Instead she hides in Alicia's mind, which she absolutely hates. She keeps begging Cain to make her the dominate personality, but doing so would probably blow her cover. When she is in control, the real Alicia is not aware. She doesn't even know this alternate personality exists. Her bad side takes advantage of her precognition gift and scans to see what happened where she should have been and applies that to make Alicia think that's where she really was.
Character's Powers (If any, and no more than 2): She is a vampire...(darn you, Twilight books! lol), and she can make future predictions.
Character's Weakness (Must state at least 4; 2 concerning your powers!): When she looks into the future, what she sees is almost always just a tiny part of a much bigger picture. As a result, there is rarely anything she can do to stop it from happening. If someone is bleeding in her presence, it sends her into a mad frenzy in which she has to be held down by at least two strong men to keep from killing that person. She is constantly struggling to keep from harming anyone and chooses to hunt animals rather than humans. She hardly knows what to do without her brother around, and now that she's separated from him she's lost and confused. She hates the vampire part of her. At the most she can only see 24 hours into the future, and she can't look at her own future. Her hypnotized state sometimes messes with her ability to see the future. If it's something her bad sides doesn't want her to see, she intervenes and Alicia sees nothing. Her good side has no idea what this means.
Character's Appearance (Clothes, hair, face, etc. If you can provide a picture, that would be awesome!):
Character's Allegiance (Hero, Villain, or Neutral): Hero
Weapons (If any): None, except her powers
Other Info (Is there anything we need to know about this person?): Despite the fact that she is a vampire, she refuses to harm people because of it. She hunts after animals when she gets thirsty. Her eyes turn black when she either hasn't drank in a few days or is in a frenzy.
History (At least 15 sentences and as detailed as you can get. The better we know them, the better we can write with you):
Alicia is William Cortez's sister. She was born into a doting family and loved all the attention she received from them. However, she went into a bit of a tailspin after her parents died and she was left alone with Will. It took her three years to get out of her depression and used to life as it now was. After that, her high school years passed almost normally. She loved William in much the same way as her dad and was always trying to impress him.
Right after the last eclipse, she found she had changed somehow. When she looked at herself in the mirror, she saw that her skin was noticeably paler and there were dark circles under her eyes as if she hadn't slept well. Her eyes, which had been blue, had also turned a golden color.
She didn't think much of it, just that it was weird. She went on a date that night. The guy somehow cut himself in the car accidentally on the hand, and Alicia suddenly went insane. Before she quite realized what she was doing, she found him half-dead in her arms and her teeth sunk deep into his neck. She freaked out and jumped out of the car, which had crashed into a tree while during her frenzy. In a state of shock, she called the police and reported the accident, not saying what had caused it. She walked home that night, and didn't tell William anything about it.
A day or two after that, she realized that she could see into the future. She let Will know about that, but continued to keep her other secret.
She got a handle on her powers, learning to control her appetite until she could get her hands on an animal of some kind. She continued her classes in Pheonix until a bunch of men in black dragged her out of her brother's house and threw her in a van. She was drugged and hardly aware of her surroundings, but she knew that very soon she was going to get thirsty. She escaped when her thirst grew nearly out of control and one of the men scraped his knuckles on a wall of the van.
Now she is somewhere in the New York area, having no idea what is going on, where she is, or where her brother is.
Role Play Sample (At least 15 sentences):
Alicia wandered by the busy highway, utterly lost and also hating herself. She had lost control again, had let her thirst control her. Sure it had allowed her to escape from them, but the cost was too much in her opinion. She was certain she had killed at least three of those men in her madness. She kept walking. A trucker stopped by the road.
"Hey, ya need a ride?" he asked. She glanced up at him.
"Where am I?" The trucker gave her a strange look.
"The way you're walking, your almost to New York City," he said. She gawked for a moment. How in the world had she gotten from Arizona to New York? It hadn't seemed like that long ago they had taken her from Will's house. She stared at the direction she was walking it, and now she saw that there were, indeed, tall skyscrapers in the distance. After getting over her shock, she looked back up at the trucker. She thought she could control herself now.
"Think you could drop me off inside the city?" she asked. The trucker nodded.
"Sure, can do. Just hop in." Alicia walked around to the other side and opened the door. She had no idea what she would do once she got to New York, since she had no money and no way to get home, but for now she would just take this a step at a time.
