"Geez, you need to lighten up. Its not like I can make the plane fly any faster." Max rolled her eyes in disappointment at Will. "That's why I never liked Americans. All Hut-hut, and no play. No wonder your comedies always end up as tragedies; no humor whatsoever." She sat down in a chair once they found their gate. It looks like they were going to be able to board in ten minutes.

Will laughed dryly at Max's comment about Americans. He used to have a sense of humor. Heck, he used to be considered hillarious. Dropping into a chair beside Max, Will tapped his fingers restlessly against a knee. Ten long minutes to go. Ten minutes to maybe show Max that American's weren't that dull. "I think, if I could have any ability, I'd have to chose flight." He looked over at Max pointedly. "Then I wouldn't have to worry about going through security."

Max smirked. "Is the Commando attempting humor?" She raised an eyebrow. "I think you should stick to your day job." She patted his shoulder sympathetically. "Like I said...tragedies." She sighed. "Anyways, why do you want a boring ability like that? Its much more fun to do other things." She grinned mischievously.
"We are now boarding flight 2321 to New York City." The boarding agent spoke through the speaker.
"Hmm, well, they're a lot faster than I expected." Max glanced over her shoulder, and sighed. "I would have gotten us a private jet, but apparently they were all booked...so...I suppose going commercial is aiight." She shrugged as she patted Will to get going.

"Whatever" Will grumbled, slumping back down in his seat. "You'll see the light one of these days." As soon as he heard the woman announced their flight was ready to board, Will hopped up and slung his bag over a shoulder, eager to be off. "I don't care what we fly, as long as we get there." he said to Max, striding over to the boarding gate. He showed his tickett to the stewardess, who then waved him in. Entering the section designated to first class, Will released a low whistle. This didn't even look like a plane! Taking his seat, he couldn't help but release a sigh of comfort. "Well done, Maxy." he said, grinning at the Brit.

Max filed into the plane with a cheerful step. Her mood was even more cheerful when she sat down into the large leather chair. Her mood immediately darkened and she stiffened. "Dont. Call. Me. Maxy." She growled out. Her mood lightened when the stewardess offered her a selection of drinks. "Ooo." Her attention was diverted to the cart as she ordered a large amount of variety drinks, all non alcoholic, of course. She suddenly remembered Will was there. "Oh, did you want any?" She asked as the stewardess left.

Pleased that he had managed to aggrivate Max, Will smiled gloatingly. Although, it was his turn to be aggravated as she hogged the drink stand and the stewardess passed on without offering him anything. "No, I'm quite fine. No need to worry about my comfort, mate." he said, mocking her british accent.

Max narrowed her eyes at Will. "You really want to try my patience, don't you?" She growled out, wanting very much to punch him right now. "Bloody Americans." She muttered as she drank her Sprite.

Will laughed aloud, his eyes krinkling in his mirth. He found Max's annoyance extremely humorous. Maybe it was just her accent that made if funny, though. "Oh, don't be so serious, sweets. I'm just having a bit o' fun." he said, still in his rather bad british accent. "Whoa." he said involuntarily as the plane began rolling down the strip. His hands unconsciously gripped the arms of his seat. He had forgotten how much he hated flying.

Max slammed her drink down when Will continued on with his hideous makeshift of an accent. "That's it! I'm gonna kill you!" She growled out, but began to burst out in laughter when Will was clearly not taking to the flight as they began moving. "GI Joe is plane sick! Oh. My. GOD! This is hilarious." She laughed harder.
"Please, Mrs. Cortez. Keep it down, we're about to take off." The stewardess had walked over to inform her, as some of the passengers were complaining. "What!? No...No...HELLLLL NOOO!" Max's jaw dropped. "We're not together." Her face horrified at such an implication.

Stifling down his nervousness about the flight, Will turned and glowered at Max. She had no right to mock him! However, the stewardess's mistake made up for that. Although, did Max have to act so revolted? He wasn't that bad of a guy... Leaning across Max, Will looked up at the stewardess and gave her a smile. "My apologies, miss. She's British." He gave an exagerated roll of his eyes. "Such Drama Queens over there. But don't be fooled, Mrs. Cortez is one happy woman." Will leaned back a little to smile deviously at Max. "Aren't you honey?"

Clenched teeth, Max's eyes were deadly when she turned to glance at Will. "Only when I'm away from you!" She pushed him away, hard. "We'll try to keep it down." Max told the stewardess, trying very hard to maintain a leveled voice.
"Thank you." The stewardess replied, clearly needing to sit down, as the plane was beginning to pick up speed.
"Drama Queen my ass!" Max hissed out to Will once they were left alone. She punched him in the arm.

JennyBeth sat across the aisle from the fighting couple. She was dead tired, and Cammie next to her was grouchy. This was their third flight tonight. Her stupid bosses from the Exodus team told her she'd have to move to New York for a while in order to operate. And of course there were no flights directly from Dallas to NYC. She had to fly to Topeka, then to Pheonix, and now finally on this plane. She was just glad she'd convinced the Exodus crew to cough up half the travel expenses. Now maybe the two of them could get some sleep once they were in the air. "Mamma, I'm thirsty!" Cammie said, "I want a Coke!" JennyBeth made a face. "Cammie, it's too late to drink a Coke. It'll make you stay awake all night." "No it won't," the little girl replied, pouting and staring out the window. "Why do we have to fly away from home? I like home!" Why indeed, she thought, rubbing her forehead. She had a splitting headache. "Because Mamma's job requires us to," she said. She'd switched to English after the Topeka flight because she didn't like the stares she was getting from people when she and Cammie were speaking in Japanese. This had ended up making Cammie even more upset and she'd refused to switch. The little girl sulked down in her seat as they prepared for take off. Then she noticed the arguing people on the other side of the plane. She gave the woman a smile and finally said something in English, though JennyBeth wished she wouldn't talk to strangers. The girl was too trusting. "You're very pretty," Cammie said to the lady. She unbuckled her seat belt and crawled into her mother's lap for a closer look. "Cams, please get back in your chair and buckle your seat belt," JennyBeth sighed. "After the plane's in the air, you can get up." Cammie pouted. "But I wanna talk to the pretty lady!" she said. JennyBeth took her and set her back into the seat, firmly buckling the seat belt. "Fine, you can talk to her once that light goes off." She pointed at the "Fasten Seat Belt" sign. Cammie crossed her arms. JennyBeth groaned and leaned back. If that child didn't go to sleep, she was in for a very long night.

Will let Max push him back, letting himself slump against his own seat. He smiled at her the whole time, totally amused by her fury. He winced a little when she jabbed his arm. She was surprisingly strong. "Oh, ow." he said sacrastically. "That really hurt." Will rolled his eyes and grinned. Max was turning out to be a good distraction from the turbulence of the lift off.

Max just glared at Will, trying very hard not to smack his face into the window. Sitting back, she tried ignoring him, but her finger was tapping annoyingly onto the armrest as they plane ascended into the air. "I'm going to be so glad when this is all over." She muttered as the plane began to level out.
