Martin Darrel had a strong handshake. "So glad you changed your mind Cortez." he said, pumping Will's arm. Will managed a half smile, inconspicuously examining the empty lot he and Martin stood in. Beside them was a black Hummer which Mr. Darrel had arrived in, alone. "If you don't mind, I'd rather talk and drive. I've got one of the freaks in the back now that I need to transport." That was all Will needed to hear. Swinging a fist up, he punched Martin squarely in the jaw, sending him to his knees. Bending, he grabbed the Exodus leader by the collar of his shirt and hauled him to his feet. "Where are you taking these people!" he demanded, slamming Martin against the Hummer. Martin glared, but remained silent. Mouth set in a hard line, Will delivered another punch. "Answer the question, damn it!"
Martin proved a harder man to question than Will had anticipated. At the end of a seventh punch, he finally sputtered through bloody lips, "Vermont!" Will paused in the middle of a swing, "Somewhere in Vermont!" Knowing that was all he would get from Martin, Will struck him once more, knocking him unconscious. Spitting on his limp form, Will climbed over the body and opened the back door.
"Shot." he muttered, examining the sedated gifted. "Hey," he said, shaking the person, "wake up." This person was out, Will decided. But he couldn't just leave without helping. Grumbling, he moved to the front of the hummer and climbed into the driver's seat. The keys were still in the ignition, and in due time Will was pealing out of the empty parking lot. Fortunately, his hotel wasn't too far from there.

Of all the days to come to America, she had to come today. She had to get her butt busted for stealing a Van Gogh...and then her day got even better: someone raided the jail she was binding her time in. The last thing she remembered was being shot by something. She remembered it because it had a distinctive sensation. Like someone was putting ice into her system She blacked out after that, and now, her body was in a car.

Sliding into a parking space, Will parked the Hummer and looked into the back seat. What was he going to do with her? He couldn't carry her into his room. That would look suspicious, not to mention a little creepy. Sighing, he rubbed his forehead, resigned to waiting in the hummer until she woke up. Letting his head fall back against the seat, his thoughts immediately turned to his sister. Martin had some somewhere in Vermont. His sister was being hauled to someplace in Vermont. He needed clearer answers. But how to find them? After his stunt today he would no doubt be considered a fugitive helping the freaks escape. Freaks. What a disgusting stereotype. Turning back around again, he grabed the woman's shoulder and shook her. "Hey, lady, wake up."

Max felt someone poking her roughly. Her eyes snapped opened as she remembered to use her accelerated healing powers right when she got hit, hoping to already speed up her immune system. Now with that power back in mind, she was able to be revived without being groggy. She jumped up, backing up against the backseat. "What the hell!" She said and tried to kick the man's face, hoping to escape.
OOC: well, thats a wonderful way to greet someone lol

OOC: lol!
"Whoa!" Will exclaimed, dodging the woman's foot. He hoped she didn't have some crazy killing ability. Of course she thought he was one of the agents, he realized. "Hey, just calm down, would you!" he said, watching her carefully, ready to dodge another flailing foot. "I'm not the one of the guys who captured you." He held up his hands peacefully. "See. We cool?" he asked, giving her a friendly smile. She certainly wasn't drowsy from the sedation, Will noted.

ooc: =p
Max's eyes narrowed at the man. Despite his words, she still was hesitant to believe him. "We'll see." She said, relaxing a bit, but maneuvered her body so that she was in a pouncing position, should the man's words appear false. She concentrated on the super strength she got in Prague. "Where the hell am I?" She snapped, her eyes flickering towards the open door of the trunk.

Will let his hands fall to his sides. No use holding them up if she wasn't going to kill him. "We're outside of a Days Inn." he said with a sigh. "Look, are you ok? Those tranquilizers pack quite a punch." The question was probably unnecesary, judging by the woman's alertness and rather defensive attitude. She looked ready for a fight the way she was sitting, tense and hostile. He didn't know why, but he found the whole situation rather funny. Maybe it was the sleep deprevation.

Max raised an eyebrow. Outside a Days Inn? Well, that didn't tell her much on her location. "I'm fine. I heal fast." She said bluntly, as she eyed hims suspiciously. "So, what do you want?" She asked, wondering why he even bothered to save her - in her profession that usually meant that the guy wanted a favor. "You going to let me go or am I going to make you let me go?" She smirked, giving him his options.

Ah, so the woman was a healer. An ability Will kinda wished he had. At least until he saved his sister. "I don't want anything. You can go or whatever." He shrugged indifferently. This woman certainly was confident. If it actually came to a fight, there was no way she would win. "Just be careful, yeah? Phoenix seems to be crawling with those agents." Even thinking about the Exodus men made Will's rage build. He couldn't wait to lay his hands on more of them. "Hey, before you run off, do you happen to know where these guys were taking you?"

"Phoenix?! I'm in Phoenix?!" Max cried out and scrambled out, pushing Will aside roughly with her powers, unintentionally of course. She felt the warmth of the hot sun and the misty atmosphere of Arizona. "How the hell did I get here? I mean, I was in Texas..." She pondered out loud. "I don't know...I remember they said something about Vermont...and Pennsylvania before I passed out...but that was it..." She tapped her chin, wondering what she wanted to do. "Oh, I'm gonna kill them...stupid punks surprised me...and I didn't get the Van Gogh!" She muttered, her eyes glinting with anger and irritation as she ignored Will for a bit.

An unseen force shoved Will back, ramming him agaisnt the steering wheel. "Ow." he muttered, glaring at the woman. Some thanks. Sighing, he stepped out of the Hummer, slamming the door behind him. He unconsciously checked the pistol concealed behind his belt, making sure it was still in order. Resting his elbows on the hood of the Hummer, he regarded the woman silently, wondering what she meant about the Van Gogh. Was she an artist? Also, he now had to make a note of Pennsylvania. But where to go first?
"So, were you buying a peice by Van Gogh?" He asked, his eyes narrowing suspiciously. As far as he knew an authentic van gogh was hard to come by, and no doubt expensive. Unless of course it was just a replica.

Max jumped, startled. She forgot about Will. She smirked. "Sure..." She mused for a bit. "So what are you? Special forces? Army, CIA? Oh, god, you're not Interpol are you?" She asked with some distaste, but eyed him with some interest. If she could get him to tag along with her for a bit, she might have a better chance on getting her revenge. She pondered on a way to manipulate him and was some what downed for not collecting a persuasion power or something. Oh, how that could be so useful in her line of work.

Mood darkening at the mention of his previous occupation, Will shrugged. "Doesn't matter what I was." he said grimly. "Now I'm just a fugitive." His eyes stared off into space as he contemplated the fact. Rubbing a hand over his face, he brought himself back to the moment at hand. "Anyways, I've gotta get going. I wish you luck in your art business, or, whatever." Will gave her a small smile, then twirling the Hummer's keys around a finger, started back towards his hotel room. He had to grab his small suitcase from the room before continuing on his way.

"Hey, man, what's the rush?" Max asked, chasing after him, but trying to appear cool and collected. She wondered why he seemed so negative about his job, but was more concerned on getting his expertise. She could handle herself, of course, but hey, what's the harm in getting a decoy...or an assistant? She hopped sideways, keeping up with his strides. "Look, I was thinking, we could help each other out...I mean, you seem bent on knowing where I was suppose to be taken...and let's face it, I want to know too. You seem to know what these guys deal in, and well, I can supply the means of getting us there." She smiled brightly, in a feigned innocent look.

Lifting an eyebrow, Will watched the woman skeptically, not slowing his pace for her shorter legs. He had expected her to run off as soon as he said goodbye. Wasn't she anxious to get home, or contact the people who must be missing her? Pausing outside the hotel door, he stroked his chin as he studied her. "I don't usually run off with strangers." he said, amused. "What exactly do you mean you have the means of getting us there." Wherever there is he added to himself.

Max stopped hopping once they reached his hotel door. "What else? Money. I got loads...like loads...and if that isn't enough, I can, well, I can run really fast." She smiled as she leaned against his door and remembered the blond girl, Daphne, and her powers. It took her a heck of a long time to collect that power, as Daphne was not only a rival, but an annoying prick when it came to slowing her down. She continued to smile, remembering how she poured a large amount of water and marbles all over a smooth floor. That got Daphne to stop real quick, and for Max to get her powers. She mentally praised herself for her genius. "And, the name's Max. Now we're not strangers, unless you plan on not telling me your name." She feigned a hurt expression.

Tilting his head, Will narrowed his eyes at Max. Loads of money? This girl didn't exactly look like the typical rich person. Wouldn't she have some sort of personal security to protect her? "I see..." he said, beginning to take her offer a bit more seriously. "I'm Will." he said simply. "So, let's see, you can run really fast, you apparently heal really fast, and you managed to push me around with some invisible force. What else can you do?" Reaching into his jean pocket, he pulled out his hotel card and swiped it through the lock on the door. It beeped, and Will quickly opened it. "Ladies first," he said, gesturing her inside.

"Oh, loads of other things." She raised a cryptic smile and bounded into the room. Glancing around the typical room, Max's eyes quickly covered the layer of the room. It was basic, nothing overtly expensive or cheap. Her eyes fell on a small suitcase, but that was pretty much all he had. She sighed, slightly disappointed. She had rather hoped to find him a bit more interesting, or perhaps some clue on what he did before.
"So, Will." She hopped onto the edge of his bed. "What can you do?" She asked slyly, knowing that he wasn't like her, and that she wanted to know as much possible before going head first against the guys that kidnapped her. Which, in her defense, she reasoned, she was caged in the stupid cell and attacked by 4 people all at once....plus...she had a hard time figuring out which power would work best on them.

Moving into the room at a more natural pace, Will ventured into the bathroom. He caped his toothbrush and grabbed the little hotel room soaps, as well as his own shampoo and conditioner. Carrying it all in the crook of one arm, he returned to the main room, moving over to his suitcase. As he was packing the rest of his stuff away, Will eyed Max with a little annoyance. "I can do lot's of things." He said, straightening and swinging his bag over a shoulder. "As much as you like to act tough, I could take you out with my little pinky right now." He smirked, wondering if that bothered her. "But for now, the only thing I want to do is find the place where those agents were taking you. I'll let you come along for now, but if you jeapordize my that goal in any way, I won't hesitate to kick you to the side of the road." He felt only a little bad for his rougness. Normally, he wouldn't have been so heartless, but he didn't know how much time his sister had left. "Is that clear?" he asked, his gaze intense.

Watching Will was incredibly boring as he went about gathering his things. She scoffed at his words. "Honey," she cocked her head at him in amusement, "I can have you on your ass before you breathed in your next supply of air." She laughed lightly. "But whatever, you seem intelligent to some degree." She got up from the bed. "So, let me make something clear." She stared at him, her expression hardening to meet his gaze, "I won't hesitate to kick you to the side of the road if you get in my way." She raised a threatening eyebrow, which soon turned into one that of amusement. "Let's go, GI-Joe. Light's a-wasting." She headed towards the door.
